Keg Curling League Sign Up
We’re excited to launch weekly keg curling leagues starting January 7th!
The season is 4 weeks long with leagues on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 pm. Teams range from 2-8 people and will play four 20-minute games each week in a round robin format. Registration is $40 per team for the 16-game season. Prizes for 1st and 2nd place in each league at the end of the season.
NEW THIS YEAR - the rink will be covered by a tent with side walls. There won’t be heaters under the tent - so dress accordingly - but the ice should be nice and smooth all winter!
Only 5 teams per league, so get your spot soon!
ALL PARTICIPANTS must sign a waiver prior to curling - even if you curled last year.

What is keg curling and how does it work?
Great question! Two teams face off sliding mini kegs back and forth across the ice trying to get their kegs closest to the center of the target (house) while knocking the other team’s kegs out of the way.
How to you keep score?
It’s a lot like bocce. Each team slides 4 kegs in a turn or “end.” The team with the keg closest to the center (tee) scores and gets an additional point for every keg they have closer to the tee than the other team’s closest keg. If no team gets a keg in the scoring circle, then neither team gets points and it’s called a “blank end.” The team with the most total points after 10 ends wins the game.
Is there shelter on the patio?
Yes, the patio has propane heaters and heated greenhouses.
What if the weather is bad?
This is Wisconsin in the winter, after all! This is an outdoor activity, though there may be times when the ice conditions require us to cancel matches. We will contact you by email on the day of the league if it’s necessary to cancel. We will refund league fees on a pro-rated basis if we need to cancel matches.
That said, a team will not be refunded if they don’t show for a scheduled league night. If no one on your team can make it, you can have replacement players fill in for your team provided they sign the waiver.
Other important info:
ALL PARTICIPANTS must sign a waiver prior to curling.
Check in with bar staff on arrival to check in and get instructions.
PLEASE STAY OFF THE ICE. There are poles to move the kegs around the ice, so you don’t need to step on the ice. If you need assistance, our staff will be happy to help.
The $40 is a reservation fee and is not applied to any food or drink tabs.
Gathering Place gift cards cannot be used for league signups.
You’re welcome to bring outside food to the taproom and patio.
No outside beverages on the patio.
